My Cup of Tea
My Cup of Tea....
I do like having a cup of tea to give a boost to my chores for the day. What I believe is that this enables me to think straight and keep up my confidence with my head held up high! If I miss out on my daily intake of tea I believe I would be dragging my head in search of missing caffeine and struggling to keep myself on track. All this is as a matter of fact just my belief and has nothing to do with tea. We do start our day with a favorite sip of the drink that claims to reclaim the momentum of our life. Guys! grow up, there is nothing in this world that can create a perfect day for us rather than our thoughts of positive impulse.
Once a coach asked his team to prepare for the final match of football, all members of the team started warming up, putting their best foot forward with massive leg strokes that hit the ball hard to make way to the goalkeeper slipping away through his hands and hugging the goal post. The coach seemed impressed with the performance of his players but he looked rather normal than expressing his happiness before his team. He called them all and asked them to lay down on the field they were playing, as they lay, he told them to close their eyes and visualize the match ahead of them, each one of them tried visualizing the match that was yet to commence. He asked them to visualize themselves "winning the match". Yes ! you heard it right. Some members of the team were dismayed as to what the coach intended to achieve but still, they visualized their team wins the match.
The match began and progressed further and further, the team won the match as they had visualized in real. What the coach had seen in his team members were their cups of tea filled with their abilities and strengths. He had advised them to put aside the boost of energy for the day and keep their mind positive.
So My cup of tea is really not my cup of tea. :)
